The TAG ALT III 944 Youth Shoulder Pad is a lightweight, low-profile shoulder pad with pro-quality features, featuring Cool Max Antimicrobial mesh lining treatment, High Energy HD foam, and strong stainless steel hardware. These pads offer maximum protection, mobility and comfort for on-field performance. Machine washable. --Focus more on the shoulder measurements, than on your chest measurements when buying new shoulder pads. Because most shoulder pads let you easily adjust the chest fit. The important thing is to have proper coverage of your shoulders, and since there is no play at all in the shoulder coverage of pads, follow your accurate shoulder measurements.
-New HD foam technology. Lighter than our old ALT pad. This is a high energy absorption material that also provides durability over a long period of time. Our tests show the unique energy redirection property of HD foam absorbs 10% more energy when compared to conventional energy absorbing foams, such as EVA foam.
